Services

Our paver maintenance services will have your pavers looking great.

Paver Repair & Reset

Our professional technicians will repair and reset pavers that may have sunk or shifted to return your patio or walk to its original condition. If your paver edging is non-existent or is in poor condition, we will install new edging since loose, broken or raised pavers are unattractive and can cause injury. Edging must be securely in place for the structural integrity of the paved area and any failed edges where the pavers have settled will have to be repaired before sealing. This is a common problem and is usually related to improper initial construction or drainage issues.

Deep Cleaning

Concrete pavers, brick pavers, poured and stamped concrete, and natural stone pavers all need to be cleaned thoroughly before a sealer can be applied during the paver maintenance process.

Power washing alone will only remove surface dirt. Instead, we use special paver cleaning cleaning equipment along with our specially formulated hardscape cleaner to penetrate deep inside the cement pores, releasing ground-in dirt and contaminates. This process works without damaging or discoloring the pavers; it also brightens up colors and enables the sealer to better penetrate the paver.

Our cleaners can remove grease, rust, paint, leaf stains, and more because we use a specialized product for each type of stain:

Efflorescence

Efflorescence is the white chalky residue that can build up on the surface over time. It is caused by the natural salts that are part of the concrete used to produce the pavers. It is essential that efflorescence is removed via a paver cleaning before a sealer is applied. This will also rejuvenate the color and appearance of your paved surface.

Rust Stains

Our rust remover effectively dissolves stains caused by dripping rusted water and steel streaks from patio furniture, fire pits, and barbeque grills.

Oil and Grease Stains

Our professional grade oil & grease remover lifts and absorbs embedded stains in pavers, slabs, natural stone, poured or stamped concrete, and walls without damaging or discoloring the material.

Moss and Algae

Moss and algae can sometimes grow on your paved areas (particularly if they are frequently damp or in the shade.) Our organic stain remover will remove moss and mildew as well as tough organic stains such as dead leaves, blood, wine, and non-greasy food stains.

Paint, Tar and Rubber Stains

We have specialized cleaners to remove these tough stains that could include tire marks or chewing gum.

Polymeric Jointing Sand

Polymeric jointing sand stays in place. It becomes almost as hard as concrete when dry, yet is flexible when wet to stay within the joints and follow any movement in the pavers. It is available in two different grades and colors (tan and grey), depending upon the application requirements.

Before we seal your pavers, our paver maintenance technicians will re-joint your walk, patio or driveway. We use a next-generation polymeric jointing sand specially formulated to stabilize the pavers while preventing erosion, inhibiting weed growth and resisting ants and other insects.

Sealing

After we perform our paver cleaning, your pavers are ready to receive our film-forming or penetrating sealer. Because each has different qualities and different pavers have different absorption rates, our Hardscape Protection Specialist will help you choose the right sealer for your project.

Film-Forming

This type of sealer helps to protect your pavers by blocking the effects of water and other contaminants. They generate a protective barrier on the surface that leaves a distinctive sheen and feel. This finish also helps prolong that “new look” color and is the most effective in preventing stains from penetrating into the paver.

Penetrating

This type of sealer actually penetrates deep into the paver material. These sealers are usually recommended in areas that need to be slip-free such as pool decks and sloped walks or drives. Penetrating sealers also promote the longevity and durability of the life and look of your pavers.
